Metaphor studies

We are inviting papers which will cover the diverse range of metaphor studies on the English language. All aspects of metaphor studies are welcome. These may include, for example, analyses within the framework of the American school of cognitive linguistics, as in Conceptual Metaphor Theory, to those represented by the French schools of English-language metaphor studies, such as the enunciative approach, in relation with the role played by metaphor in lexical creation in the following domains:

  1. very recent (emerging) metaphor;

  2. political domain;

  3. contrastive studies between English and French;

  4. translation English/French.
